The Link Ladder

Backlink packages, built as a ladder instead of a link dump.

Four backlink packages, and one rule: every link sits on a site that clears its band — DA 40–49, DA 50–59, DA 60–70, or DA 80+ on Summit — with the domain rating to match. Each package builds 15 links a month, billed monthly: Authority 40 at $500, Authority 50 at $1,000, Authority 60 at $2,000 and Summit at $3,000. There is no filler underneath it: no citation or comment blasts, no profile or directory drops, no padding layers. If a site does not clear the band, we do not build on it. Every package starts with a link plan you approve before a single placement is made, and runs month to month with no minimum term. These packages are the link layer of The Authority System, the full monthly programme that also covers technical health, content, entity signals and E-E-A-T.

Start here

Start with the $100 full SEO audit. It tells you whether you need links at all.

The full SEO audit is $100 and it is built on live data rather than opinion. Through DataForSEO we pull your actual search positions, the pages outranking you and your complete backlink profile — referring domains, anchor distribution, the authority of each site linking to you and the link gaps against your competitors. Our own SEO tools then cover the crawl, indexation, on-page, schema and Core Web Vitals side of the site.

What you get back is the raw data plus a prioritised action list: what is broken, what is missing, whether backlinks are genuinely your constraint, and if they are, which package is realistic. If the audit says links are not your problem, you have spent $100 instead of $500 on the wrong fix — and if it says they are, it becomes the starting point for the link plan.

What a package actually is

A backlink package should be checkable, not just believable.

Most link packages are priced on volume and judged on nothing. Ours are priced on scope you can verify line by line: the number of placements, the domain authority and domain rating of the site each link sits on, the pages that receive on-page work, and when each month's placements land. The Link Ladder exists so that "how many links did I buy, how good are the sites, and where are they" has an answer you can open in a spreadsheet.

Every package runs the same way. First a link plan: target pages, anchor mix and its caps, the DA and DR band being bought and the month's schedule. Then placement, by hand, spread across the month rather than fired in one afternoon. Finally the link report: every placement URL, its target page, its anchor, its domain authority and its referring-domain count, so you can open each one and judge it yourself.

What 15 links a month actually means is 15 articles written for 15 different sites. Each one is written for that site and your subject, then placed by hand on a contextual page — a person searching for the right target, filling in the forms and writing the piece, not a tool firing submissions at a list. Nothing is spun, nothing is automated, and no site is used twice. It is slow, tedious work, which is exactly why it is priced per month rather than per link.

The target list keeps growing as we go. Every month we uncover more sites, so a programme can run for six months or longer without repeating a placement — and six months is usually how long it takes before a profile starts to look like it was built over time, because it was.

What we do not do is promise a ranking. We control placement quality, relevance, domain authority, structure and proof. We do not control your competition, your site or Google — so we make the deliverable the work, and we show it to you.

Every package includes
  • A one-page link plan you approve before placement starts, including the DA and DR band.
  • A DA and DR floor on every placement — DA 40 minimum, DA 80+ on Summit — and nothing below it goes in, not even as a filler layer.
  • 15 links a month, placed by hand on real pages, not comment, profile or directory drops.
  • Domain authority, domain rating and referring domains reported per placement, so you can check each link yourself.
  • On-page optimisation on an agreed number of pages.
  • Multiple target URLs and a varied, brand-weighted anchor mix.
  • An auditable monthly link report listing every placement, its anchor, its DA and its DR.
  • A 30-day replacement on any placement that disappears.
  • No adult, gambling, casino or escort placements — ours or yours.
The Authority 40 backlink package: 15 links a month on sites with domain authority 40 to 49 and domain rating 40 or higher, for $500 a month, with on-page work on 5 pages.
Authority 40, the entry package: 15 links a month on DA 40–49 / DR 40+ sites for $500 a month. Compare it with the other three packages.

The four packages

Link building packages, priced per month.

Every package builds 15 links a month and is billed monthly — $500, $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000 — and the authority band is stated on each one before you buy: DA 40–49, DA 50–59, DA 60–70, or DA 80+ on Summit, always with the domain rating to match. No setup fee, no marketplace commission, no upsell at the end, and no filler placements underneath the real ones to make the numbers look bigger. It runs month to month, so you can stop whenever you like. That is the whole ladder: four link building services packages, 15 links each month, priced by authority band rather than by link count.

What makes ours different

Six standards we hold on every package.

None of this is exotic. All of it is missing from the average link package, and that is exactly why we describe it.

How the pricing works

Fifteen links a month — the band is what you are choosing between.

Every package builds the same 15 links a month. What changes is the band those links come from: DA 40–49 at $500, DA 50–59 at $1,000, DA 60–70 at $2,000, and DA 80+ at $3,000. So a bigger package is not more of the same links — it is links from stronger sites. That works out at roughly $33 a link at the entry tier and $200 at the top, which is why these are monthly programmes rather than one-off batches.

The usual way to make a link package look bigger is to add hundreds of citations, profile entries, directory submissions and comment placements underneath it. Those are cheap, they are not links anybody would choose, and they pad the count without adding authority. We do not build them, so what you buy is what you get: 15 links a month on sites that are worth a link.

That is a deliberate trade. If you want volume, this is the wrong page. If you want fifteen placements a month you can open, read and judge one by one, it is the right one.

Targets, anchors and authority
  • Multiple target URLs per package — not one homepage link repeated.
  • Anchor text varied deliberately, with exact-match anchors capped.
  • Brand and URL anchors carry the majority of the profile.
  • Higher bands cost more because the sites are stronger — every package builds the same 15 links a month.
  • You supply target pages and preferred anchors, or we propose them in the link plan.
  • Competitor anchor comparison included from Authority 50 upwards.
  • Runs month to month, so the profile keeps compounding — and you can stop whenever you like.

Add-ons

Extend a package without changing it.

Priced per unit and attachable to any package. These are one-off extras rather than part of the monthly run, which is why a single placement costs more here than a link inside a package.

01

+1 link, DA 40–49 / DR 40+

$100
One extra placement on a DA 40–49 / DR 40+ site, outside the monthly run.

02

+1 link, DA 50–59 / DR 50+

$200
One extra placement on a DA 50–59 / DR 50+ site, outside the monthly run.

03

+1 link, DA 60–70 / DR 60+

$400
One extra placement on a DA 60–70 / DR 60+ site, outside the monthly run.

04

High-traffic link insertion

$250
One in-content link added to an existing page that already receives organic traffic, on a DA 50+ / DR 50+ site.

05

+5 pages of on-page work

$150
Five more pages optimised on the same basis as the package — title, headings, internal links and schema.

06

Extra Summit placements

Quoted per link
More than 15 a month on DA 80+ sites is quoted individually, because each placement is scoped before it is bought.

What you receive

Backlink packages with a report you can audit.

A link plan first: target pages, the anchor mix and its caps, the DA and DR band being bought and the month's schedule. Then a link report every month: every placement URL, its target page, its anchor text, its domain authority, its domain rating, its referring domains and its date. From Authority 50 upwards you also get a 60 or 90-day referring-domain check, and Summit adds priority delivery — so you can see whether the profile actually grew rather than taking our word for it. That is the difference between backlink building packages you can check and a monthly invoice you have to take on faith.

That matters more than it sounds. The usual complaint in this market is not that links were never built — it is that nobody can prove which links exist, how strong the sites were, or where they went. A report turns a promise into something checkable, and it also tells you what to do next: which pages are now supported, and which are still thin.

Judging it honestly
  • We sell backlinks, not positions. No ranking guarantees — links are one input among several.
  • Page one is a race, not a purchase. If a competitor has run ten link campaigns to your one, expect to be catching up before you are overtaking.
  • Domain authority (Moz) and domain rating (Ahrefs) are third-party metrics, not Google signals — useful for comparing placements, not a promise.
  • Links take weeks to be crawled and longer to influence anything. Judge at 60–90 days.
  • If your site cannot be crawled or indexed properly, fix that first — links will not compensate.
  • Raw link count is the least interesting number in the report. Authority and relevance are the point — which is why there is no filler in the count.
  • You receive the report whether the campaign performed or not. The work is the deliverable.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about backlink packages.

Still deciding between a package and the retainer? Start with the $100 full SEO audit and the data will tell you which one fits — including when the answer is neither.

Get the $100 full SEO audit →
What is the $100 full SEO audit?

It is a paid, data-led audit. Through DataForSEO we pull your live search positions, the pages outranking you and your full backlink profile — referring domains, anchor distribution, the authority of each linking site and the link gaps against competitors. Our own SEO tools then cover the crawl, indexation, on-page, schema and Core Web Vitals review. You receive the data, a prioritised action list, a verdict on whether backlinks are actually your constraint, and if they are, which package is realistic.

Do I have to buy the audit before a package?

No. If you already know the site is healthy, indexed and that links are the gap, you can buy a package directly and the link plan is produced as part of it. The $100 audit is for the site where nobody is sure yet, and it is the cheaper mistake if the answer turns out to be that links are not the problem.

What domain authority and domain rating are the backlinks?

Every package states both before you buy, and every package builds 15 links a month. Authority 40 is 15 links on DA 40–49 / DR 40+ sites for $500 a month. Authority 50 is 15 on DA 50–59 / DR 50+ for $1,000 a month. Authority 60 is 15 on DA 60–70 / DR 60+ for $2,000 a month. Summit is 15 on DA 80+ / DR 80+ sites for $3,000 a month. Nothing below DA 40 or DR 40 is placed in any package — not in a package and not as an add-on. Domain authority is Moz's metric and domain rating is Ahrefs'; both are third-party measures rather than Google signals, so we report the DA, the DR and the referring domains of every individual placement in the monthly link report, and you can check any line yourself.

What is in a backlink package?

15 uniquely written articles and 15 manual placements a month on sites in a stated domain authority and domain rating band, on-page optimisation on a set number of pages, a link plan you approve before anything is placed, and a monthly report listing every placement with its URL, target page, anchor, domain authority, domain rating and referring domains. Authority 40 adds 5 pages of on-page work; Authority 50 adds 10; Authority 60 adds 15; Summit adds 20 plus priority delivery. Nothing else is added to inflate the count.

Does a bigger package cost less per link?

Every package builds the same 15 links a month, so what you are choosing between is the band, not the quantity. That works out at roughly $33 a link at $500, $67 at $1,000, $133 at $2,000 and $200 at $3,000. A single extra placement bought on its own costs more than a link inside a package — that is what the monthly commitment buys you.

What is the link plan?

It is a one-page plan delivered before any placement: which pages are targeted, the anchor-text mix and its caps, the DA and DR band being bought and the month's schedule. It exists so you can object before the work starts rather than after it is done.

How long do the packages take?

All four run on the same monthly cycle: 15 links placed across the month rather than fired in one afternoon, then a report, then the next month begins. Links built in a single burst look manufactured, so the month is used to place in the right order and to let each placement settle before the next one goes in. Higher bands take longer to place than lower ones, which is why Summit includes priority delivery.

Are these monthly backlink packages?

They are monthly, not one-off. 15 uniquely written articles and 15 manual placements land each month, billed monthly, and the profile compounds because each month builds on the one before it. We keep uncovering new targets as we go, so there is enough uncovered inventory to run for six months or longer without reusing a site — and six months is usually how long it takes before a profile looks genuinely built over time. There is no minimum term; stop whenever you like. If you want links plus technical health, content and continuous reporting on top of that, it is The Authority System instead.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No — and we will not pretend otherwise. We sell backlinks; we do not sell positions. Whether a page reaches page one depends on the competition and the backlinks they have already built. A competitor may have run ten rounds of link building to your one, which means you have ground to make up before you can overtake them. What we control is placement quality, relevance, domain authority, domain rating and the proof that the work happened. What we cannot control is their link profile, your site's technical health or Google's algorithm. If your site has a crawlability, indexation or content problem, we will tell you before you buy links, because links will not fix it.

What if a link disappears?

Any placement we made that is removed within 30 days of delivery is replaced at no cost. You can verify it yourself, because the report lists the URL, the domain authority and the domain rating of every placement.

Can I buy links for a client under my own brand?

Yes. The packages are white label — nothing in the report or the placements carries our branding — and agencies order them regularly for clients they do not want to hand over. See outsource link building for the full white label route.

What do you not accept?

Adult, pornography, gambling, casino, escort and similar categories, and any niche where the placements would have to be hidden from the client paying for them.

The $100 full SEO audit answers what the packages cannot: are backlinks even your constraint, and if so, which package is realistic? It is built on DataForSEO search, competitor and backlink data plus our own site tooling — so the answer is measured, not guessed.
